Nicola Jayne Little spoke to business owner and long-time MINT member Danielle Stanley.
Danielle runs ecommerce stationery business, Under The Rowan Trees, and has recently taken on paid help for the first time.
“Our business is reliant on us completely. The minute you bring another person in, it doesn’t have to be an employed person. It could be like, what I’ve done, where we’ve got the team of everybody else who’s self-employed, you know. You realise that there are other people there. That it’s not just all on you. Yes. It’s tricky to get it right in the first place and, you know, defining what everybody’s doing. And also us letting go of stuff as complete control freaks.”
