MINT Business Club is delighted to be providing additional training to its Kickstarters.
We are an official Gateway Provider for the Government’s Kickstart scheme, helping 16-24 year-olds find exciting 6-month employment opportunities to get them on the career ladder.
As part of the support package we offer, those who are successfully placed with companies on a six month Kickstart placement will also receive training to help them settle into their role and develop their skills for their future career.
The training includes:
• Basic Skills
• Digital Skills
• Basic Microsoft Office Skills
• Social Media Skills
• Communication Skills
• Customer Service Skills
• Confidence at Work
• Health & Safety
• Writing Job applications / CV Writing / Interview Skills / Personal Presentation
• Signposting to apprenticeships / Further Employment Opportunities
MINT founder Nicola, who is a former teacher and experienced trainer, said: “Training is very much part of what we do at MINT. Every single week we deliver training to small business owners who are thriving to grow, learn and develop.
“We wanted to give our kickstarters some of the same opportunities, so we have created a suite of online learning tools covering things like digital marketing, social media and Microsoft programmes as well as working on their own confidence and presentation skills and giving them the tools to apply for jobs and apprenticeships beyond the kickstart scheme.
“We want the young people who begin their career journey with MINT to get the absolute best start possible, and bring new skills and knowledge to the businesses they’re supporting along the way.”
