Twitter is a great big, fast and furious world of information that’s sometimes tricky to keep up with. Setting up a Twitter list gives you a way of tracking accounts that are important to you and your business without wasting any time scrolling through an endless feed.
A Twitter list can be a public list, and others can subscribe to the list and follow it. Once you add another Twitter user to the list, they will get a notification to say they’ve been added.
Alternatively, Twitter lists can be private – no-one will know they have been added and only you see who you’ve added.
Basically, if you can think of a reason to categorise and list people (customers, friends, Club members, people you want to work with, journalists, media and any other reason you can think of!) pop them into a list and keep an eye on what they are doing.
Now you know why to use them, watch the video to see how to set them up …
